Twin sisters stabbed in Brooklyn deli

 




Twin 19-year-old sisters were each stabbed in a Brooklyn deli early Sunday, leaving one dead and the other receiving treatment in hospital, police and witnesses said. Two 19-year-old twin sisters were both attacked with a knife inside a deli in Brooklyn during the early hours of Sunday. Tragically, one of the sisters lost her life, while the other sister is currently receiving medical care at a hospital. This distressing incident was confirmed by both the police and witnesses present at the scene. Law enforcement officials stated briefly that Samiya Spain passed away due to a stab wound to her chest. Her sister, whose identity remains unknown, sustained an injury to her arm but was reported to be in stable condition. The New York Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. within a deli located in the Park Slope area, at the intersection of Saint Mark's Place and 4th Avenue, which is in close proximity to Spain's residence on Nevins Street. Both women were transported by emergency medical services to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where one was declared deceased. "There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing at this time," police told reporters. According to an anonymous witness interviewed by a reporter, a dispute ensued when a man expressed admiration towards the women and conveyed his attraction to them, only to be turned down. Subsequently, the witness stated that the man resorted to derogatory language before departing from the deli.  The police have stated that there have been no arrests made and the investigation is still ongoing at present.

Brooklyn subway shooting

 





On Friday, NYPD Chief Jeffrey Maddrey and Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry announced that the 32-year-old man involved in a subway shooting in Brooklyn will not face any criminal charges. The authorities stated that the individual, aged 36, brandished a firearm at the subway station after bypassing the emergency gates without paying, just before boarding the train. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. within the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station situated in Boerum Hill.As per the authorities, a 32-year-old male was traveling on a northbound A train when he encountered a 36-year-old male dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants who was already present on the train. "I'll beat you up, I'll beat you up," The 36-year-old reiterated to the man who was 32 years old and seated. Witnesses provided accounts of the 36-year-old man displaying aggressive and provocative behavior towards the 32-year-old man."I just spent 13 years in jail,"Just before the altercation escalated, the 36-year-old individual uttered those words during their verbal exchange. The individual, aged 32, subsequently rose from their seat and positioned themselves directly behind the stanchion, compelling fellow commuters to hastily move towards the opposite end of the carriage. The police reported that the 36-year-old individual brandished a pointed item, then set it aside and engaged in further conversation with the other individual before another altercation ensued.

 

"What are you trying to do?" he shouts.

 The altercation escalated, leading to the 32-year-old woman attacking the 36-year-old man from behind, stabbing him repeatedly in the back.

 "You stabbed me?" he shouts.

 Shortly after, the 36-year-old individual is observed with blood flowing from his back while persistently engaging in combat with the other gentleman.

"You're interfering with a man's situation,"The man, who is 36 years old, inquires as he reaches into his jacket pocket

 

"I'm getting out," A single passenger shouts.

 

The 36-year-old proceeded to reportedly take out a gun from his coat and advanced towards the 32-year-old, shouting at him, leading to another physical altercation.

In the ultimate physical altercation, authorities stated that the 32-year-old successfully seized control of the firearm from the 36-year-old, subsequently discharging multiple rounds and hitting the 36-year-old.

Upon the occurrence of the shooting, the train arrived at the subway station, where multiple officers were already present.The individual, aged 36, was subsequently transported to a medical facility, where he remains in a critical yet stable state.

Elderly man kicked onto tracks in Penn Station attack

 



 
 
On Sunday, police say 64-year-old Abu Khan was kicked off of the platform and fell onto the tracks, but was rescued by other passengers. Khan, a postal worker, told a reporter he was heading home from work when the assault took place. Khan stated that the individual came up to him, inquired about something he couldn't comprehend, then proceeded to kick him from behind, causing him to fall onto the tracks. Khan asserts that he was rescued from the tracks by fellow passengers moments before another train arrived at the station. Around 11 p.m. last Friday, at the identical station, authorities reported that a male suspect approached a 27-year-old man on an A train arriving at the 34th Street/Penn Station stop.  Authorities are currently searching for an individual who stands accused of assaulting and making an attempt to sexually assault a woman after she exited a subway station in Queens over the previous weekend.Authorities have reported that the incident occurred shortly after midnight on February 24th. The 20-year-old woman, identified as the victim, was disembarking from a Queens-bound F train that had arrived at the 169th Street station in Jamaica, according to the authorities. The perpetrator trailed behind her as she disembarked the train and, upon reaching the mezzanine of the station, proceeded to repeatedly strike the victim's face while concealing her visage. This forceful assault caused her to collapse onto the ground, while the assailant also made an endeavor to disrobe her. The woman's loud outcry caught the attention of a security guard, prompting their immediate intervention. The individual subsequently fled the station on foot, making his way towards 168 Place. The injured party was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.

NYC train conductor slashed in neck

 

 

 

 

 The NYPD reported that a conductor on a southbound A train within a Brooklyn subway station suffered a neck injury after his head was slashed while protruding from the cabin window. The occurrence took place on Thursday just after 3:30 a.m. at the Rockaway Avenue Station in Brownsville. The 59-year-old conductor, Alton Scott, was transported to Brookdale Hospital by the police. At the hospital, he underwent a medical procedure to close the large wound, requiring 34 stitches.  According to authorities, the individual, characterized as a grown man donning a blue vest, escaped from the station. To date, there have been no apprehensions. Scott boasts an impressive 24 years of dedicated service. Up to this point in the year, seven MTA workers have been attacked, with four of the cases linked to individuals who had been arrested at least 50 times before.

Brooklyn bodega shooter wanted in death of worker

 


The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has recently unveiled fresh photographs of the individual believed to be responsible for the tragic killing of Nazim Berry, a 37-year-old employee at a local bodega in Brooklyn. As per the New York Police Department, Berry was fatally shot in the head shortly after 4 p.m. while inside the bodega on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights. The incident reportedly occurred after he refused to give away a complimentary cigar. Berry was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was later declared deceased. She stated that their entire demeanor indicated an unwillingness to accept refusal. According to my sources, they subsequently procured a firearm and returned. When the individual attempted to retrieve the gun, Nazim noticed it, leading to a struggle. As you may know, during such physical altercations, one tends to bend down, and it was during this tussle that the assailant aimed the gun directly at the side of his head and pulled the trigger. According to his mother, Berry, who resided in the vicinity alongside his grandmother, had been employed at the bodega for numerous years without ever encountering any difficulties. The man is characterized as having cornrow braids and a dark skin tone. He was last spotted in a black and white jacket, black sneakers, and black jeans.

The NYPD announced that three individuals suspected of being involved in the homicide of a man on a subway train in the Bronx last week have been apprehended and formally accused. Justin Herde, aged 24, Betty Cotto, aged 38, and Alfredo Trinidad, aged 42, have been charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon. The authorities apprehended the suspects on Monday, shortly before noon, at an apartment in the Bronx. The authorities suspect that the group of three individuals committed a fatal assault on William Alvarez, aged 45, on Friday shortly after 5 a.m. aboard a southbound D train, within the Fordham Heights area. The incident occurred as the train was approaching the 182-183 Streets station. Upon nearing the stop, law enforcement reported that one of the individuals sat beside Alvarez and engaged in a verbal altercation. Subsequently, the conflict escalated into a physical altercation, with two additional individuals becoming involved. Tragically, during the altercation, a firearm was discharged, resulting in the death of Alvarez. Upon the train's arrival at the station, the suspects hastily fled, as stated by the police. Alvarez was swiftly transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where his unfortunate demise was officially declared.

The NYPD reported that a man was repeatedly hit in the head with a metal pipe by another individual at the Queens Plaza subway station in Long Island City on Saturday. The suspect approached the 31-year-old man shortly before 1 a.m., as stated by the police. The victim was struck repeatedly in the head with a metal pipe by the suspect, as stated by the police, before he fled the scene. The injured individual sustained cuts to the head and was transported to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in a stable state. The man is characterized as an individual with a dusky skin tone, aged between 40 and 50 years, standing at approximately 5 feet 9 inches in height. The 29-year-old man, identified as the victim by authorities, was engaged in playing a cello on the mezzanine of the 34th Street-Herald Square station at approximately 5:45 p.m. It was during this time that the woman forcefully struck him on the head using a metal bottle, as reported by the authorities. The woman subsequently left the station and was spotted heading towards Broadway, located between West 34th Street and West 35th Street. The individual sustained a cut on his head. The individual is reported to be around 5 feet 3 inches in height, possessing a slender physique.
