Brooklyn subway shooting

 





On Friday, NYPD Chief Jeffrey Maddrey and Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry announced that the 32-year-old man involved in a subway shooting in Brooklyn will not face any criminal charges. The authorities stated that the individual, aged 36, brandished a firearm at the subway station after bypassing the emergency gates without paying, just before boarding the train. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. within the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station situated in Boerum Hill.As per the authorities, a 32-year-old male was traveling on a northbound A train when he encountered a 36-year-old male dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants who was already present on the train. "I'll beat you up, I'll beat you up," The 36-year-old reiterated to the man who was 32 years old and seated. Witnesses provided accounts of the 36-year-old man displaying aggressive and provocative behavior towards the 32-year-old man."I just spent 13 years in jail,"Just before the altercation escalated, the 36-year-old individual uttered those words during their verbal exchange. The individual, aged 32, subsequently rose from their seat and positioned themselves directly behind the stanchion, compelling fellow commuters to hastily move towards the opposite end of the carriage. The police reported that the 36-year-old individual brandished a pointed item, then set it aside and engaged in further conversation with the other individual before another altercation ensued.

 

"What are you trying to do?" he shouts.

 The altercation escalated, leading to the 32-year-old woman attacking the 36-year-old man from behind, stabbing him repeatedly in the back.

 "You stabbed me?" he shouts.

 Shortly after, the 36-year-old individual is observed with blood flowing from his back while persistently engaging in combat with the other gentleman.

"You're interfering with a man's situation,"The man, who is 36 years old, inquires as he reaches into his jacket pocket

 

"I'm getting out," A single passenger shouts.

 

The 36-year-old proceeded to reportedly take out a gun from his coat and advanced towards the 32-year-old, shouting at him, leading to another physical altercation.

In the ultimate physical altercation, authorities stated that the 32-year-old successfully seized control of the firearm from the 36-year-old, subsequently discharging multiple rounds and hitting the 36-year-old.

Upon the occurrence of the shooting, the train arrived at the subway station, where multiple officers were already present.The individual, aged 36, was subsequently transported to a medical facility, where he remains in a critical yet stable state.

Elderly man kicked onto tracks in Penn Station attack

 



 
 
On Sunday, police say 64-year-old Abu Khan was kicked off of the platform and fell onto the tracks, but was rescued by other passengers. Khan, a postal worker, told a reporter he was heading home from work when the assault took place. Khan stated that the individual came up to him, inquired about something he couldn't comprehend, then proceeded to kick him from behind, causing him to fall onto the tracks. Khan asserts that he was rescued from the tracks by fellow passengers moments before another train arrived at the station. Around 11 p.m. last Friday, at the identical station, authorities reported that a male suspect approached a 27-year-old man on an A train arriving at the 34th Street/Penn Station stop. Prior to attacking the man with a box cutter, the suspect reportedly uttered an anti-LGBTQ remark.

 Authorities are currently searching for an individual who stands accused of assaulting and making an attempt to sexually assault a woman after she exited a subway station in Queens over the previous weekend.Authorities have reported that the incident occurred shortly after midnight on February 24th. The 20-year-old woman, identified as the victim, was disembarking from a Queens-bound F train that had arrived at the 169th Street station in Jamaica, according to the authorities. The perpetrator trailed behind her as she disembarked the train and, upon reaching the mezzanine of the station, proceeded to repeatedly strike the victim's face while concealing her visage. This forceful assault caused her to collapse onto the ground, while the assailant also made an endeavor to disrobe her. The woman's loud outcry caught the attention of a security guard, prompting their immediate intervention. The individual subsequently fled the station on foot, making his way towards 168 Place. The injured party was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
