Women found in duffle bag two squatters wanted

Investigators are currently searching for two individuals who were squatting in the Kips Bay apartment of a woman's deceased mother. The woman tragically discovered the squatters living in the apartment, leading to her untimely death. Nadia Vitels came to the country from Spain to get the East 31st Street apartment ready for a family friend. The apartment, which had been empty for three to four months following her mother's passing, belonged to her. She came across a man and a woman residing within the premises. Vitels seems to have been hurled into a sheet rock wall during a fierce altercation, resulting in the subsequent discovery of a damaged and fractured surface. She sustained blunt force trauma to the head, multiple facial fractures and two broken ribs. The individuals took her Lexus and escaped over the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey, eventually crashing in Lower Paxton Township, near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Regrettably, the local authorities in Pennsylvania failed to run the license plate until the day following the accident, thereby providing the duo with an opportunity to escape. Investigators are currently pursuing leads and have obtained security footage showing the pair visiting various auto dealerships in an effort to purchase a new vehicle for $1,000. Unfortunately, their attempts were unsuccessful.

Vitels' remains were discovered inside a duffel bag on the previous Thursday by her worried son. He, along with the superintendent and other relatives, gained access to the apartment after not receiving any communication from her for a period of two days. Vitels' remains were discovered inside a duffel bag on the previous Thursday by her worried son. He, along with the superintendent and other relatives, gained access to the apartment after not receiving any communication from her for a period of two days. The individuals occupying the apartment managed to gain access through the building's elevator, as there is no front door to the unit. Despite the elevator requiring key access, authorities are currently investigating how the squatters were able to make it open on the specific floor.Surveillance footage of Vitels waiting for alternate side parking regulations to park her Lexus on East 31st Street before entering the apartment building has been retrieved, along with footage of the perpetrators driving away in the vehicle following her tragic demise.

Young man killed in mistaken identity drive by

The young man, aged 19, who lost his life in a drive-by shooting near his residence in Canarsie, Brooklyn, may have tragically fallen victim to a case of mistaken identity. Christian Montrose parked his vehicle on East 104th Street in the early hours of Tuesday, while a black Acura pulled up alongside him. Following a short discussion with the individuals inside, the shooter in the Acura began shooting. Montrose received three shots - one on the right side of his face, causing the loss of several teeth, another on the right side of his abdomen, and a third on his right forearm. Montrose hurriedly made his way to his apartment and discovered his brother, yet he was unable to communicate the events that had unfolded as he had sustained a gunshot wound to his mouth. According to law enforcement officials, Montrose does not have any records of arrests, nor does he have any affiliations with gangs or drugs. Detectives have received consistent descriptions of Montrose as "a good kid." Detectives are currently looking into the possibility that he may have been a victim of mistaken identity, pointing to the prevalent gang violence in the area. The suspects, who have not been apprehended, wrongly associated either Montrose or his vehicle with a rival gang, according to their beliefs. Authorities have stated that the black Acura involved in the shooting was reported stolen in the Bronx prior to the incident.
