18 year old college student stabbed & Killed

Denzel Bimpey met his unfortunate demise while traveling on a coach bus from Syracuse to New York City during the holiday break.  Bimpey had contacted his sister before the journey, requesting the family to prepare his beloved dish. However, he never returned to taste it. During the bus ride, Bimpey engaged in a dispute with students hailing from Onondaga College. The dispute commenced subsequent to Bimpey and his acquaintances being questioned by the authorities about their affiliation with a gang. The group of perpetrators initiates a conversation using a dialect associated with gangs, inquiring about the origin of our victim's group by asking, "Which block do you represent?" In response, they firmly state, "We do not belong to any gang." The victim's group does not have any previous record of arrests. According to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, it appears that these individuals are merely students who happened to encounter a group that may have wrongly identified them as members of a different gang. Upon alighting from the bus, the circumstances deteriorated significantly. As per the authorities, the surveillance footage clearly depicts Bimpey being subjected to an act of assault. He made an attempt to escape and sprinted for approximately one city block before succumbing near the intersection of East 26th Street and Park Avenue South. Bimpey was adored by his peers. Numerous messages were left on a poster as a tribute to him. Bimpey brought immense joy to his family, constantly radiating laughter and displaying unwavering ambition and determination. “You took my brother, but you are going to also mess up your life … The same thing you took away from my brother is going to happen to you,”  In a message directed towards her brother's killers, the sister of the victim, who preferred to remain unidentified, expressed her thoughts.

Subway train kills MTA worker

A subway train accident in Midtown claimed the life of an MTA track worker who was on duty overnight, tragically occurring just a month before his one-year anniversary with the agency. Hilarion Joseph, aged 57, was a member of a cleaning team located just south of the 34 St-Herald Square station shortly before 12:15 a.m. At that moment, he encountered and was pulled by a sluggish northbound D train. The train was traveling at approximately 10 mph while undergoing its scheduled maintenance. Davey, the NYC Transit Presdent mentioned the presence of cameras at the station, but considering the location of the incident, specifically within the tunnel, it remains uncertain whether these cameras would capture any pertinent footage. Joseph was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where his demise was officially declared.

Jewel Joseph the victim's daughter said "He was my world,I'd tell him anything, everything, anything I'd need help with, he helped, my dad. Even my own room, he painted my room, he did the floors. He was everything to everybody."
