Authorities are actively seeking the individuals responsible for the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl in East Harlem on Sunday evening. The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the vicinity of East 113th Street and 1st Avenue. The young victim was attacked by two unidentified males, who subsequently fled the scene in an unknown direction.
A woman sustained a minor bullet graze but declined medical assistance from the first responders.
The other victims, aged 41 and 33, were transported to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for treatment.
The suspect, characterized as a 5'5" male carrying a camel-colored backpack, escaped the scene on foot.
