Man hit in head repeatedly at Queens Plaza subway station

 

The NYPD reported that a man was repeatedly hit in the head with a metal pipe by another individual at the Queens Plaza subway station in Long Island City on Saturday. The suspect approached the 31-year-old man shortly before 1 a.m., as stated by the police. The victim was struck repeatedly in the head with a metal pipe by the suspect, as stated by the police, before he fled the scene. The injured individual sustained cuts to the head and was transported to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in a stable state. The man is characterized as an individual with a dusky skin tone, aged between 40 and 50 years, standing at approximately 5 feet 9 inches in height. He possesses a moderate physique and sports a beard. His attire during his last sighting consisted of a skull cap, a gray hooded jacket, dark gray jeans, and tan work boots.
