Subway musician struck in head with bottle at Herald Square station by woman

 

 

 


 

 

The New York Police Department is currently searching for a woman accused of assaulting a subway musician by hitting him on the head with a bottle in an unexpected attack that took place on Tuesday. The 29-year-old man, identified as the victim by authorities, was engaged in playing a cello on the mezzanine of the 34th Street-Herald Square station at approximately 5:45 p.m. It was during this time that the woman forcefully struck him on the head using a metal bottle, as reported by the authorities. The woman subsequently left the station and was spotted heading towards Broadway, located between West 34th Street and West 35th Street. The individual sustained a cut on his head. The individual is reported to be around 5 feet 3 inches in height, possessing a slender physique. She was recently observed donning a brown fur coat, a black winter hat, a burgundy scarf, and a multicolored bag draped across her torso.
