Man steals pitbull left outside store

 


Law enforcement officials are actively seeking the individual suspected of dog theft in the Bronx that took place late last week. The event transpired at approximately 6:10 a.m. on Friday near 3427 Third Avenue. As reported by the NYPD, a 42-year-old man secured his pit bull, named Precious, to a fence prior to entering a store in the Morrisania area of the Bronx.

Authorities report that the individual in question was strolling past the store when he took the dog and subsequently fled in a southerly direction along Third Avenue. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident. The suspect is characterized as a male with a light skin tone, of average build, and sporting a closely trimmed long beard. Law enforcement indicates that he was last observed wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
