Suspects wanted in fatal stabbing of 20 year old

The New York Police Department has made public surveillance footage of two suspects sought in connection with the deadly stabbing of a 20-year-old male in Manhattan that occurred last week. Authorities arrived at the location near Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 185th Street at approximately 3 a.m. on July 2

Bystander stabbed to death after accident dispute

Authorities persisted in their investigation on Wednesday regarding the deadly stabbing of an innocent bystander involved in a road rage incident in the Bronx. Ronald Gomez-Mesa, aged 29, lost his life after being stabbed in the chest close to a daycare facility in Morris Heights on Tuesday.

The event commenced at approximately 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of West Tremont Avenue and Phelan Place, where two motorists were involved in a minor collision. However, what should have been a straightforward resolution escalated into a violent confrontation. Authorities report that one of the drivers, a woman, exited her vehicle wielding a bat before contacting the individual identified as the suspect, who is believed to be her boyfriend.

A man approached the scene, and as onlookers observed, he forcefully knocked the phone from the grasp of an individual who seemed to be documenting the event. Authorities report that a man riding a scooter hurled a bottle at the furious couple before fleeing the scene. Subsequently, the boyfriend of the driver pushed another bystander, who was a friend of the victim, to the ground.

Gomez-Mesa was initially seated but subsequently engaged in the conflict, delivering several punches. The confrontation progressed to a nearby side street, where the victim suffered a fatal stab wound to the chest. Gomez-Mesa was found outside Rainbow Day Care and was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. Law enforcement officials dedicated the night to collecting evidence at the location, which included a knife.
