Man chokes 6 year old and robs 14 year old in Brooklyn

Law enforcement officials are actively seeking a suspect who is alleged to have targeted two young girls, committing a violent robbery at their residence located near Eastern Parkway and Ralph Avenue. One of the victims, a 14-year-old female, provided an exclusive account to a reporter, with her mother's consent. She recounted that while she was escorting her six-year-old sister home from school on Wednesday, the assailant approached them from behind and demanded her gold necklace.

"The man grabbed me by the neck and then - my sister looked and she started getting scared. I didn't have time...I couldn't react. I only looked at my sister and she was screaming," said the 14-year-old. The victims reported that the man trailed the girls from school to their residence, entering the building directly behind them and subsequently managing to corner them in a confined lobby area.

Authorities report that the suspect, cornered between two doors and physically dominated by an adult male, initiated the act of choking the six-year-old with one hand. Simultaneously, he forcibly removed her gold necklace and subsequently seized her older sister's gold necklace, both of which were birthday gifts from their mother.

The mother, occupied with her work at that moment, felt a deep sense of gratitude that her children were not taken."I'm very worried, because I got to call my daughter every time she goes out of school to make sure her safety is good," she says.

Emergency personnel conveyed the victims to Maimonides Medical Center, where they were reported to be in stable condition. The NYPD has described the suspect as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, aged between 25 and 40 years. Additionally, they noted that the individual has dark hair styled in a ponytail and possesses a light complexion.

At the time of the incident, the individual in question was observed donning a white shirt and holding a shopping bag from Target. Authorities report that he subsequently took a grey sweatshirt from the bag and donned it over his t-shirt
